WWAV Launches Healthy Living Initiative, Provides Free Produce to Clients

image copyAt Women With a Vision, we understand the ways the multiple systems operating within our society work together to keep marginalized women and their families locked away from the resources they need to lead healthy, whole lives. We understand that it is a privilege for individuals to eat healthy and incorporate fresh produce within one’s daily food intake.
Traditionally, low-income communities, particularly communities of color, do not have access to fresh, affordable produce and meals.
WWAV has launched a new healthy living initiative to work toward improving our clients’ access to fresh produce. If you or someone you know would like to pick up fresh produce, stop by Women With a Vision’s offices every Tuesday between 3:00 – 5:00PM.
Call us at 504-504.301.0428 if you have questions!

Produce Pickup: Every Tuesday
Time: 3:00-5:00, or until all produce is gone
