REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE

WWAV utilizes the Reproductive Justice (RJ) framework as part of a holistic approach to women’s health. RJ is the right to have children, the right to not have children, and the right to parent the children we have in safe and healthy environments. This framework broadens the focus of mainstream reproductive rights movement for a broader analysis of economic, structural, historical and contemporary constraints on power. Under this framework, WWAV offers various community trainings, events, and workshops and works to push RJ policy in New Orleans, Louisiana, and the South.
