This page is meant to be a resource for community members seeking to stay updated on services and operations at Women With A Vision during the recommended social distancing period.
Please note the following changes:
- HiSET classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays are suspended until further notice.
- Client meetings are suspended until further notice.
- In-office Harm Reduction services are limited. Our Harm Reduction team will provide harm reduction through Street Outreach on Tuesday, March 17. On Wednesday March 18, we will hold syringe access hours on our front lawn from 10 am to 2pm. Please respect social distancing protocol during harm reduction access.
- Harm Reduction supply deliveries will be available on a limited basis. Please call (504) 233-3344 if you need supplies and are not able to make it to the office during revised hours.
- The following programs will be working from home until March 31: Ending the Epidemic, Case Management, Reproductive Health and Justice, Sex Work Decriminalization, and Integrated Voter Engagement.
We are very happy to be able to offer a Sex Worker Relief Fund in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

A message from our Executive Director, Staff and Board of Directors on COVID-19:
Because of the current rapid spread of the novel Coronavirus in New Orleans and Louisiana, the Women With A Vision Team will not be holding normal office hours until March 30th, 2020. We are doing this to help keep our community safe and to guarantee that we will be able to serve our community in the future. We are committed to serving our community to the best of our ability while maintaining social distancing practices and valuing our most vulnerable community members.
