While this space is open to all of our allies and friends — i.e. white folks and straight folks — please understand that this is a celebration of LGBTQ communities of color in New Orleans, and should be treated as a safe space! Meaning, this space is an anti-racist space (which means if you consider yourself an ally and your costume is culturally appropriative, check yourself.)
