Dear friends,
Last week, across the globe, communities celebrated International Human Rights Day. Here in New Orleans, WWAV made a commitment to continue to use our strength and power to build a better world.
We have made so much progress this year thanks to our supporters and allies who have stood at our side as we’ve rebuilt and continued to fight for the lives and rights of the most marginalized in our communities. Our doors would not have reopened after the fire without your commitment, support, and incredible generosity. And as we look toward 2014, we know that the struggle is not over and that there is still much work ahead of us.
Today we ask that you help us build the vision. Please consider an end-of-the-year, tax-deductible donation to Women With a Vision so that we may continue working to eliminate the barriers to access, health, and human rights our communities face.
Together we can move toward the better world we envision: a world without AIDS, a world free from the criminalization of drugs and drug users, a world affirming of LGBTQ people’s health and well-being, and a world where all of us, young and old, can grow up to realize our hopes and dreams.
Your gift is doubled!
One of our amazing donors has agreed to match every dollar up to $5,000 donated to Women With a Vision through December 31st. That means your gift will go EXTRA far this year! Our goal is to raise enough money through the end of the year to help cover a portion of the costs of renovating Vision House.
Please check out the newest video made by one of our amazing allies to see just why Vision House is important to the work we do. And if you’re inspired, please consider making a secure online donation today at our website.
Thanks so much for your time and support!
Yours in vision,
The WWAV Team
