On May 29th, a team of friends and allies gathered at WWAV to begin the hard process of cleaning out the office after the fire. Channel 8 was on site, and ran a powerful story narrated by our Community Organizer/Outreach Worker, Zina Mitchell.

Arson destroys Women With A Vision office — Please Help!
Late at night on May 24th, 2012, someone broke into the WWAV office and set a fire, which has destroyed our space. We want everyone to know that everyone in the WWAV family is safe. And our work will continue. This will not and cannot stop us from speaking out for people who don’t have a voice.
