WWAV will be a visiting host at the Youth Empowerment Project and BreakOUT!’s LGBT Youth Film Fest on August 2, 2013. This event is FREE and refreshments will be provided.
About Pariah: Alike, a 17-year-old African-American woman has a flair for poetry, is a good student at her local high school, and is quietly but firmly embracing her identity as a lesbian. Wondering how much she can confide in her family, Alike strives to get through adolescence with grace, humor, and tenacity.
