June 14th – SCAN Victory in the Louisiana Senate!!

Today, the Louisiana Senate voted UNANIMOUSLY in support of our bill to remove Solicitation of a Crime Against Nature (SCAN) from the sex offender registry and make the penalties the same as prostitution.
Next stop is the governor’s office!  We will be leaning on all of our local and national allies to ensure that Governor Jindal follows the House and Senate’s lead in signing this important step towards healing and justice for the women of Louisiana into law.

    I thank all the people who helped out in changinf this law. I am a sex offender due to the crime against nature law. I was looking for a way to find the men and women to do just wat yu have all done, but did not have the know how. I am looking foward to the courts finding it in their hearts to take us off the sex offenders list. It took 4 months to change the law I have faith it will not take much longer to take us all off the list. Them we all can get ou lives back. Wecan find jobsand be looked upon in a different manor. Thank you all who took the time nd effort to fight for us all.
